Before we dive into the three steps, the first thing you’ll need to do is make a reference mark at the top of your item with a permanent marker (we use a stainless-steel tumbler anda red permanent marker in our example).

Now for the three steps:

First Step: Enduramark Silver

(1) Spray the imprint area with Enduramark Silver.

(2) Place the tumbler in the laser, and set the home position in the center of the tumbler.

(3) Disable the X-axis motor in the laser, and align the red-dot pointer of the laser to the red mark.

(4) Reset the laser to the home position.

(5) Run the laser using previously optimized laser settings.

(Please see https://enduramark.com/blog/optimizing-your-laser-settings/ for help with optimizing your laser settings.)

(6) Rinse the marking material off the tumbler.

(7) Cover the red mark on the tumbler with blue painter’s tape.

Second Step: Enduramark Diamond Dust

(1) Spray the imprint area with Enduramark Diamond Dust.

(2) Remove the painter’s tape from the tumbler.

(3) Disable the X-axis motor in the laser, and align the red-dot pointer of the laser to the red mark.

(4) Reset the laser to the home position.

(5) Run the laser using previously optimized laser settings.

(6) Rinse the marking material off the tumbler.

(7) Cover the red mark on the tumbler with blue painter’s tape.

Third Step: Enduramark Black

(1) Spray the imprint area with Enduramark Black.

(2) Remove the painter’s tape from the tumbler.
